All Outta Love

Well when we met it was love at first sight
You were all I'd been searchin' for
Yeah but now I realize
That I just don't want you no more

So get our of my house
And out of my life
Well I'm tellin' you baby
I opened up my eyes

"Well a woman is a woman and a man is a man"
You say that's a little something I gotta understand
Well I don't know where you got that stuff
But listen to me baby I'm all outta love

I'm all outta love yeah
All outta love
Well I'm all outta love

So this is how our love story ends
Pack your bags and walk out the door
I'll keep the cat the house and all of your friends
And I just might start lovin' once more

So get our of my sight
And out of my mind
Well I'm tellin' you baby
I opened up my eyes

"Well a woman is a woman and a man is a man"
You say that's a little something I gotta understand
Well I don't know where you got that stuff
But listen to me baby I'm all outta love

I'm all outta love yeah
All outta love
Well I'm all outta love

"Well a woman is a woman and a man is a man"
You say that's a little something I gotta understand
Well I don't know where you got that stuff
But listen to me baby I'm all outta love

I'm all outta love yeah
All outta love
Well I'm all outta love

Was originally written for a female singer. Written by Mark, on acoustic guitar. "Angry anti-lovesong with a wink". This one is more about groove and blues and grit, and less about lyrical content. The female singer we wrote it for didn't want it, so we re-worked some of the lyrics until it suited us just fine. Originally it had a funky country-feel, but after Kenny Aronoff and Jerry Scheff blew the song out of the water (for the better!), we reworked the song into a "play-that-funky-music/chocolate-salty-balls"-sort-of-feel.
